Candle dipping...

He-Man and I were anxious to get a little candle practice in before our Candlemas event for Three Fold Utah and what a great day to do it.  It was rainy and slushy all morning.  Everyone else was busy so we set to work. I wanted tapers the size to fit the birthday ring (I like to light ours at dinner) - these were super cute and way easy.  I do like the kettle/pot that I got at Michael's since it has a nice pouring spout, it worked great for the little votives we made.  I love real beeswax, it smells so good and gives such a pretty light. We found some good deals at etsy.com for wax to melt.  The entire process from melting wax to finished tapers was about two hours.
