Beach with He Man

He Man was visiting and of course we had to play at the beach! The big kids are having fun digging holes these days.

The beach is right by the Navy base...The planes like to buzz close to the beach. Loud but cool.

Children's beach, la Jolla

A few weeks ago we went to Children's Beach for the first time, what a treat! ! Sea lions and their pups everywhere!

Noticed I missed some!

I was cleaning out Dropbox and noticed some pictures I totally missed! A few birthdays and some fun beach trips and did I mention we live in the flight path? I have become quite the air plane nerd.

Water Wednesday without water

Did you know that sand is still perfectly delightful even without the water? It was low 60s today so we just played without the water.

We made a giant hole and they all climbed in.

Pay attention to Sariah as she tickles Harry's toes.

A lovely week...

This month marks five months in our Paradise.  We have settled into a nice rhythm of school, work and beach. We have a weekly play date at the beach with new friends (Super Sam is in heaven!) We spend our Saturday mornings at a fantastic farmer's market downtown where we are spoiled with the amazing produce and then come home to plan our week's menu based on the treasures we found.

I am working on my kitchen, here is a peek at a cross stitch I am working on for my wacky gnome + bees + Italian pottery scheme...somehow it will come together.
